Who we are
As a student or a parent we believe that it is important for you to understand “who we are” as a student ministry, and the reasons why we do what we do. A while ago, I asked the question, “What does God want the life of a student to look like?” We believe that answer is a life that is SOLID in Christ. Our student ministry is here to help parents and students become SOLID in their relationship with Christ, proclaiming His love to their friends, family, and peers.
We believe the best way for you to become SOLID is to provide you opportunities to Connect to God, Connect to Others, and Connect to a Lost World. We seek to engage all of our students and parents in relationships that will lead them to do these three things. As you look through the pages of this site you will see various ways to get involved. In your quest to find the “perfect” student ministry we would ask that you remember a few things.
1. There is no such thing as a perfect student ministry, but we strive to be excellent.
2. If you want more than just “entertainment,” then this is the place for you. We want you to be faithful disciples of Jesus.
3. Becoming SOLID only happens if you jump into our ministry with both feet. You won’t grow unless you get plugged into every aspect of the ministry.
