Resonate 2010 D-Now
February 5th – 7th is our “Resonate” 2010 Disciple Now Weekend. Resonate is a perfect opportunity for you to deepen your faith, and also deepen your friendships. This weekend is designed to be an awesome, in-depth event that will help you to understand how to live a life of worship, and give you an opportunity to let you hair-down a bit. We have invited Ellis Wimberley to come and lead in worship, and Jason Owenby to challenge us through Gods word. We also have a group of college students coming in to lead you in small groups. All worship services will be held in the Theater. The cost is $40 per student for our early bird registration and $60 per student for late registration (after Jan. 3rd). Registration will be closed after Jan. 20th. You will need a medical release form to attend Resonate 2010. To register for Resonate 2010 click here

Camp SOLID
July 5th – 9th is “Camp SOLID.” Camp SOLID is one of those opportunities that you don’t want to miss! It’s a chance for you to get out of town, get away from all the drama, take your relationship with God to the next level, and have a good time doing it. From awesome worship and a relative message, to hands on ministry sites and the BLOB, Camp SOLID promises to be life changing. The cost is $250 dollars plus a $25 registration fee; late registration fee of $50 after May 24th 2010. You will need a medical release form to attend Camp SOLID. To register for Camp SOLID click here.

Team Spirit Night
Alright it’s finally here, the largest tailgating party in Clay County. Wednesday, Sept. From 6:00 – 8:00 we will be tailgating in the North parking lot of FBCM. Why in the world would we do that? Simple, school spirit! We want to see which High School has the most school spirit. So paint up, put on your school colors, bring the band, go all out! We’re looking for the school with the most School spirit to give our Spirit Stick to. There will be tons of free food, games, and give-a-ways. Come check it out!

Tail-gating Tour
Well, the best way we can describe it is the Best Party on Wheels you will ever be a part of. For starters, there is plenty of free food (at least while it lasts! But we prepare a lot).  There are also free soft drinks and waters.  There are two corn-hole tournaments happening on a 12ft by 40ft painted field.  There's music. It thumps and gets us ready for a little football.  We give away a bunch of free stuff too. There's also a tent where you can get all painted up for the game. Come throw the football with us or hang out in your favorite tailgate chair. Oh yea, bring your own chair.  There will be plenty of seating but we'll definitely run out of places to sit!  OK, so what's the catch?  What are you promoting? Nothing…seriously, it's free, no strings attached. We are not promoting a single thing. Why? Why not? We love to have fun and seriously want you to have fun with us as we support our teams. So, we'll see you at the game. Bring a friend so they don't miss out.

Apologetics Summit
Apologetics- from the Greek roots apo and leg ( apologia ), the word apologetics is translated as "speech with cause." In the Christian context, apologetics is important because it aims to give your faith credibility in today’s culture. We will take the entire month of October to show you how to defend your faith in a culture that doubts the accuracy of the Bible, teaches evolution as fact, discounts the resurrection of Jesus, and promotes relativism.   We will kick off our Apologetics Summit with a special guest speaker and continue the study throughout the month. Our Apologetics Summit will be held during our 9:30 FLG hour in room 502. Make sure you are there it promises to be an awesome time!
